FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. — Four dune boardwalks will be replaced at Lynn Hall Memorial Park, on Fort Myers Beach.
Later this month, crews will elevate the boardwalks to match the height of the dunes and provide better access for people crossing them.
The design and construction of the project are budgeted at $585, 000, which will be paid through tourist development tax dollars.
The project will not interfere with public access to the beach.
Work is expected to be completed in April 2020.
